Role Summary

The Facilities and Security Manager oversees the maintenance, safety, and security operations of the school campus. The role ensures that facilities are properly maintained and that security systems and procedures provide a safe environment for students, staff, and visitors.

 

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and management of school buildings, classrooms, and facilities
• Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and improvement of school infrastructure
• Manage campus security operations including security personnel and security systems
• Develop and implement safety procedures and emergency response plans
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and facility regulations
• Supervise facilities staff including maintenance, cleaning, and security personnel
• Manage facility maintenance schedules and inspection routines
• Coordinate external contractors for facility services and maintenance projects
• Monitor campus safety risks and implement preventive measures
• Maintain facility and safety documentation and prepare reports for management


Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field
• Minimum 5–7 years experience in facilities or operations management
• Experience managing building maintenance and security operations
• Knowledge of health, safety, and facility management standards
• Strong leadership and coordination skills
• Ability to manage contractors and facility service providers
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
